Profile

After obtaining a Ph.D. in computational mechanics and simulation studies, he worked at the Institute of Earth Sciences at Academia Sinica in Taiwan and the Earthquake Research Institute at the University of Tokyo, before joining our company in 2020. Since joining, he has been involved in the planning and advancement of new business initiatives related to decarbonization. He also serves as an advisor for the Central TLO (Technology Licensing Organization) at the Nagoya Industrial Science Research Institute.

Profile

After graduating from university, he joined a precision machinery manufacturer where he engaged in research and development related to semiconductors and batteries. He later transitioned to a precision medical device manufacturer to conduct research on infrared sensors, earning a Ph.D. in 2019. Since 2020, he has held his current position. He primarily focuses on research and investigations related to batteries and semiconductors. He has authored or co-authored 22 papers and presented at international conferences, in addition to filing numerous patents. He has received several awards, including the Excellent Technical Paper Award at the 34th Symposium on Sensors, Micro Machines, and Applied Systems. Guest Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Informatics and Engineering, University of Electro-Communications.

Satoru SHIRASE

Profile

During university, he engaged in the development of organic synthesis reactions using metal complex catalysts. After obtaining a Ph.D. in March 2020 from the Graduate School of Engineering Science at Osaka University, specializing in Material Creation and Advanced Materials Science, he joined Panasonic Corporation's R&D division, where he worked on developing optical recording materials. Subsequently, he gained experience as a Project Manager and IT consultant in system development at Accenture Corporation. Since September 2022, he has been with our company, utilizing his research and development experience in both academic and industrial fields, as well as using his consulting experience, to drive innovation. His main areas of focus are biomass and CCUS (Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage), with the goal of implementing as many technologies as possible to realize a sustainable society. He completed a course in Intellectual Property Strategy at the Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech CUMOT) and Startup Supporters Academy at the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO SSA).

Masaru YASUI

Profile

He was responsible for the innovation divisions, including the new business and R&D departments, at an oil refining and sales company. He has served as an external director and auditor for four agricultural and biotechnology-related companies. Since 2019, he has been involved in management as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at a startup originating at the University of Tokyo. He assumed his current position in 2023.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business Administration at Waseda University and is a certified Small and Medium Enterprise Management Consultant.

Hitoshi YAMAMOTO

Profile

After completing a master's degree program, he joined Chisso Corporation (now JNC Corporation) and was mainly engaged in the design of liquid crystal material compositions and technical sales. During his tenure, he earned a Ph.D. in Engineering in 1995. In 2004, he moved to Seiko Epson Corporation, where he was involved in the research and development of electrophoretic materials for electronic paper applications, lithium-ion battery materials, and fuel cell materials. He has been with SIIT since October 2024, focusing on research and studies related to batteries and materials. His hobbies include dining out, attending live concerts, and spending time with his dog. He holds a Ph.D. from Gifu University's Graduate School of Engineering, specializing in Materials Engineering.
